| Okay so last night I had what I would call a pretty normal dream...because this one wasn't blown entirely out of proportion. A lot of it was actually probable and realistic. Most of my dreams are usually just really weird and tend to be hilarious. This one was a bit different. In this one, I got chased by a train. Interested? You should be. XD x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x It started out in a historic place, like the kind you'd visit on one of those tours. I was me, but I was also Peter Parker for some reason, and my little brother, mom, and stepdad were there. To the right and left of me were big, open spaces (even though we were in a building) that had the rest of the town outside. To the right was a pretend Liberty Bell that was only mimicking the size, not the appearance, and it was ringing furiously even though there was only a slight wind and no one was touching it. It sounded pretty off-key and altogether rather horrible. In front of me were these pillars that the people in that society would place their dead people on in hopes that they would survive the long drought or something. But it also represented their important people. O.o On the last two pillars were bronze statues instead of dead people, and my mom was explaining how they were the most important, so the Historic Society (or something like that) cast bronze statues to make them appear immortal, because obviously all of the bodies on the other pedestals were now nothing but dust. I believe there were seven pillars, but there could have been more. ....No, I'm pretty sure there were seven. The last pillar on the right side of me was empty, and to its left were the two bronze statues. I'll explain more about the last pillar (which is the eighth pillar) in a moment. Both statues were men. The first one was of a man who looked like he was in his mid-sixties. He was balding and wearing a suit. The statue had been designed so that it looked like he was in conversation with you, with its right arm extended a bit but bent at the elbow and with a somewhat open hand. The face wasn't necessarily kind, but you could tell he wasn't exactly a bad person, perhaps just very strict and unforgiving. The second statue was more artistic, and it was of a younger man, perhaps in his late twenties or early thirties, facing away from the older man...more towards the imitation Liberty Bell. Its left arm was raised out and up and the figure itself appeared to be in the middle of a small jump...like he was leaping across the meadow like a deer or something. The face was looking towards the sky (or roof, rather) so I didn't get a good look at it. Right next to that guy was the empty pillar that, now that I think about it, wasn't there the whole time. It was only there when you looked at it from the Liberty Bell side. It might not have actually been there at all. Perhaps it was just an illusion cast by the bell. O.o So anyway, we left that place and went somewhere else (I don't really know where), but I was alone in the next scene. At this point I was completely me again...no more half-Peter Parker-half me. I'm starting to forget now, but I think I was talking to these kids in a hospital thing, trying to cheer them up and give them hope and stuff and the next thing I knew I was being chased. (More stuff could have happened, but I don't really remember.) I do know that the person chasing me was a man. At first he was wearing a lab coat, but at the end of the dream I think he was wearing regular street clothes. I also think he had dark brown hair and a somewhat bony face with a pointy chin. XD Anyway I didn't know that he was the guy chasing me until the end of the dream, but basically what happened was I was suddenly being chased by a train. Yes. A train. XD Only it wasn't your regular train. It was sleek and red, with yellow designs and stuff; huge and powerful it came charging with the speed of an express subway. O.o It chased me through buildings, all outside, onto the railroad tracks that ran through the town , and to the station, which was located below a large, steep hill. A little boy (about 6-8 years old) was waiting on a bench there but the train didn't stop for him OR me. The boy got scared and started running with me so he wouldn't get hit as the train came right off the tracks and chased us up that amazingly steep hill, through SNOW and all, and with ALL of its cars attached! Yes, somehow, even though it was plainly summertime in the dream, there was suddenly 16 ft deep snow everywhere. Odd. But hey, I didn't really care. A train was chasing me and I didn't want to die. So anyway, the boy and I got up to the top of the hill, where we were blocked by trees on all sides, amongst all this snow. There was a small path to the right that was only about as wide as my armspan, however, and even though it was a dead end, we took it. We could now see that the train was having a little trouble getting up the hill, but within seconds (and one blink of the eyes) it had cleared it and was following our tracks, heading straight for us. We were both crying by then and I started screaming stuff like "Why?! Why do you want to kill us?!" And I guess we were lucky that the snow was making it hard for the train to charge at us because of friction or whatever, which doesn't really make a lot of sense because it's snow, but it doesn't matter because this is a dream! And in dreams, that stuff can obviously happen. xP Anyway, the train suddenly stopped and this GUY dropped in front of it, wearing his lab coat and a maniacal grin on his face. It looked like he was balancing himself or something, because his legs and arms were spread wide and he was swaying side to side like a cobra. He slowly started walking towards us and suddenly I understood. I don't even know WHAT I understood, but I understood. And apparently, the guy had also just figured out that he was chasing the wrong person. But did that stop him? No! He suddenly reappeared wearing regular clothes and made to grab us, but we fell backwards into the snow and suddenly he was gone. So was the train. So the kid and I went back down the hill, relieved that we hadn't been killed, and then something else happened. I don't remember if I woke up then, or what, but yeah. I do know that at one point in the dream I was fighting this huge group of people while in the process of trying to outrun this guy (before the train showed up). I remember continuously wondering why I couldn't just turn into Spiderman and take these people out, which is hilarious, because I was only Peter Parker at the beginnning of the dream. XD I think other stuff probably happened too, but wasn't important enough to remember. ^^;;; So there you have it! My exciting chase dream! XD It might even worthy for a thriller movie because I was literally terrified. Of course, you would be terrified too, if you were suddenly being chased by a train. *rofl* XDDDD |
